Anthro Irish 2026 Charity Sophia Housing
Our 2026 Charity
Us pirates are, of course, masters of hunting down booty and digging up treasure. And one of the greatest pleasures of a pirate is to be able to share some of that swag with folks in need. So it’s with great pleasure that we’re introducing our 2026 charity, Sophia Housing.
Sophia Housing is a leading approved housing body in Ireland which is dedicated to supporting individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of losing their homes. They empower people to rebuild their lives in a sustainable way, offering a pathway to stability, dignity, and independence.
Cork is our home and, in 2026, our port from which to set sail and we would be mighty proud to be able to count on your support as our pirate crew to offer Sophia Housing a great bounty to aid their work in making sure that others in Cork also have a place to call home.

The Game of Cat and Dragon
We’ve been finding some interesting stuff from Biolumen Comics lately, including an illustrated cookbook called Trash Dragon’s Tasteful Noods. (Get it?) But now they bring us DiscoCats, written and illustrated by Kaj Kunstmann. “Join the DiscoCats and refresh your senses on a lovely walk with these five funky felines to see the sakura bloom! Nothing keeps these little loaves down as they get up to all manner of adventure on their way to and from seeing the delicate flowers, including baking with them!
