Found this over at Animation World Network: “Nickelodeon has set a February 23 U.S. debut for the animated preschool series Mr. Crocodile. The show is based on the French children’s book Monsieur Crocodile a Beaucoup Faim (Mister Crocodile is Very Hungry) by Joann Sfar, published by Gallimard… The series follows the toothy, loveable Mr. Crocodile and his best friend Daisy as he cheerfully navigates life with comical misunderstandings. In the premiere episode ‘Lucky Croc / Sleepover Croc,’ Daisy and Mr. Crocodile search for a lucky item to help them win a bike raffle. Then, Mr. Crocodile can’t fall asleep at his first sleepover until the whole family pitches in to help.” There’s a link to the series trailer too.

We are happy to finally announce – though some of you have already heard – that our new venue will, indeed, be the Sheraton Centre Toronto!
For our new venue, Furnal Equinox’s dates are changing. Our convention will officially run Saturday to Monday instead of Friday to Sunday as in past years. As such, our early badge pick-up and dance will occur on Friday instead of Thursday.
Additionally, due to restrictions at our new venue, we will now be hosting our event in February. We realize this shift may impact planning for many of you.
Therefore, we are also announcing that our 2027 event will be held February 13th to February 15th, 2027.
Our new venue will give us significant room to grow, so if you missed out on registration for 2026, we hope to see you next year!
While we are excited for the future, we also hope everyone is ready to join us next month for “Starbound Sabbatical”, our final event held in the Westin Harbour Castle, featuring our amazing Guests of Honour, Zee the Raccoon and Finn the Panther! Let’s make unforgettable memories in our final year at the WHC!
Editor’s Note
According to several social media posts this is a HUGE upgrade. It seems the old / current hotel has issues

Hello everybody and welcome to the first episode in 2026 of Digging Up Positivity!
In this episode we have quite some animation news, an interview of the man behind The Friendliest Skunk, a really awesome video game, and of course a ton of charities by our wonderfully weird fandom!
